Updating a sony bios after a new power supply
My only conclusion at this point is that it is the motherboard.
Hey Fictionfree: On which chipset is that mobo based?
My PC shut off out of no where so I'm not sure if the old power supply took anything else out with it.
I checked and double checked every wire and they were all installed correctly.
The only difference is that when I press the power button on my computer - the power LED lights for a split second, and the CPU cooler fan spins for a half spin.
The mobo light is lit when the PSU is plugged in and powered on.
For safety purposes please follow the instructions step by step. Some manufacturers use non-ATX PSUs with 20/24 pin connectors that do not have the same pinout as a ATX PSU.
This procedure will involve working with live 12VDC electrical potentials which if handled improperly may lead to electrical shock.
